Week 6 – What’s New at BWS?

Have you visited the site lately? If not (and we won't ask why), here are a few things you may have missed:

SIDEBAR

• The lucky winner claimed our free ad design and two weeks of advertising. Here's the ad that's now running at the top of the sidebar.
  
• Blogger's Voice - Added this poll widget "Do You Use Captcha Images on Your Blog's Comment Form?". Voting has closed, but look for more polls. Let's hear your voice. Send us any suggested topics.

I'm sure you've commented on a post or two, but here are a few excerpts you may have missed, so why not take a minute to visit and put in your two cents... Remember in replying to post comments all writers will add more tips and answer questions.

• "Very good advice. i'm actually following it now. you're the first person to comment on my book post. i actually wasn't expecting anybody to actually read the boring list. lol."
• "The first bite is with the eye. Content is important but many people will not take the time to read your articles if the blog design is poor."
• "You should encourage people to comment on posts. If you have read a few posts here, we always encourage people to subscribe to feeds and comment on posts by adding lines like "share your experience..." etc. You can also add calls to actions."
• "IMO you have hit the nail on the head. It's my experience that bloggers run out of steam unless they choose to write about something they are truly passionate about. As a blogger with some experience myself I observe that I do experience times when I feel my enthusiasm waning and these times always coincide with stressful times at work and at home."
