Article Writing
Ever had that itchy feeling of a jumping idea in head?
Many times, we have a sudden burst of creativity and want to write about something totally irrelevant to current niche.
Most bloggers go out there and start another blog on that topic only to find that the the motivation was temporary.
What to do in such cases?
Answer is simple, you should look for blog alternatives.
Benefits Of Using Blog Alternatives
- Existing Readership: Content publishing networks have existing readership looking for content in a specific niche. You do not need to look for readers as with own blog.
- Rankings: Optimizing blog for search engines takes lot of time. You have to get indexed, then build links and so on. But with alternatives, your content is published on higher ranked websites. No need to care about SEO, you have to just write.
- Easy Earnings: While it takes some time before you can start earning passively with blogging, you can easily make money with content networks from day 1.
Cons
- Ownership: Content on your own blog is yours. You decide what to do with it. You can use it anywhere you want. But this is not the case with content publishing networks. Network has all the rights and can use the content in any way.
Here are the two best sites where you can publish content and earn money:
1. HubPages
"HubPages is your online space to share your advice, reviews, useful tips, opinions and insights with hundreds of other authors" -HubPages.com
HubPages is free to join and anyone can signup easily. You can earn money at HubPages via AdSense, Amazon, eBay and Kontera.
You get a certain percentage of revenue generated(decided by you stats). For more details, check out HubPages FAQ.
It is easy to create content on HubPages. The editor is really initiative and you edit the articles using "Capsules". Capsules are basically small paragraphs that you can arrange as you wish.
Editing articles is a breeze and after publishing, all you have to do is to promote your page to get traffic.
Easiest way to do this is socializing on HubPages itself. You can add similar minded people as friends and then share your hubs with them.
HubPages is the place to go if you want to write articles about different topics. Join Now .
2. Triond
Triond is another good network and publishing process is entirely different with it. You submit articles via your dashboard. You can either upload (MS Word/Open Office/HTML)documents or write article using Triond's online editor.
After you submit an article, it is not published until an Editor reviews it. This usually takes a day or two.
Articles are published on different niche websites owned by Triond.
Triond's revenue model is very different. You do not need to integrate any accounts. Instead, Triond pays you for Page Views.
Depending on the website, the CPM can vary between $1.00 to $4.00. You can get paid via Check/Western Union Money Transfer at $100 or PayPal at $0.50 (no typos there, it's 50 Cents! Really)
Do these websites really pay?
With so many spam "get paid to write" sites floating around, you might ask this question.
Well, the answer is Yes. Both of these sites really pay.
With HubPages, any money you make directly goes to your account. So, they can not do any fraud. Regarding Triond, I myself have received payment from them and can ensure that it is legitimate.
Which Is Better For You?
I'd recommend HubPages because with it, you own your content and can edit/delete it anytime.
If you are looking for lower payout limit, try out Triond.

I have seen many users talking/posting about Hub pages. I think I should definitely go have a look and see what its all about. Thanks for posting about it.
Let me know about your experience with HubPages.
It’s always nice to get recommendations to trustworthy sites. Looks like I should also read your “random blogs” post. Definitely something I can use. Thanks for the tips.
Glad you dropped in. I see your recent topic calendar to keep your posts focused. Left you a comment.
These are nice recommendations for blog alternatives. It’s definitely less risky and requires a lot less upkeep than starting up a new blog. By using these, one can still earn by writing good quality content and submitting it to the two sites. Thanks for the tips!
Glad you agree. Have you tried either one?
I currently blog and write for eHow. So far I love doing both. If you don’t want to worry about your own website, I would suggest giving eHow a try. Basically, you write “how to” articles and get paid depending on how popular your articles are and how much you write.
Interesting. Did not know eHow pays. I see how it lets you blog about anything, including ‘how to peel a banana!” Great outlet. I like your favicon!
maintaining our own blog is best than writting on others websites
Of course it’s up to each blogger to decide if they can handle it. Thanks for letting your views be known.

Thanks so much for the review. I have been looking at Hub Pages and when I regain my health I’m considering joining.
