Well, people’s habits are different. You might not be able to notice that your writing is *ahem* annoying for readers until someone tells you.

And this affects non native English speaker like me a lot… really a lot.

I wouldn’t even use that many links on blog posts, I’d go 1-3 per post, and preferably at the end of the post so that I don’t have to stop reading to check something out. I don’t mind links in the middle of the post if it’s a list of WordPress plugins that are useful or that sort, but if you have to see a link to understand the paragraph it’s just not good enough.

And as for punctuation, nothing gets me off a site faster than the space-comma-capital -format. Meaning punctuating like this ,and then continuing on without a space .If I wanted I would start a new sentence here .Oh how annoying !

I absolutely agree with it “Improper use of commas, periods, capitals and paragraphs can totally ruin your post” , it really make a blog looks out of phase.

I admit it … I’m a comma freak. I tend to over use them because I’m unsure as to their placement so I figure it’s better to overkill with them.

One thing I can’t stand is when a blogger doesn’t use paragraphs. If the entire post is one big long paragraph … I will more than likely not even read it as it’s too difficult to keep track of where I am.
