Timethief, I can always count on you to stick with long detailed posts. It’s rewarding when readers appreciate the detail. I’ve been admonishing myself for spending too much time on ‘deep’ posts, especially during the holidays. Today’s world is so fast-paced, working in “140 character” sound bytes that many don’t take the time to read, much less leave a comment.

I’ve long known that many Stumblrs merely thumb shared articles and quickly send you one to reciprocate. Traffic spikes of hundreds of visitors bounce within seconds — lots of speed readers out there. LOL So it’s smart to reevaluate how much this impinges on your time. Especially since you’re one of the few who actually read and write a review of articles you stumble upon.

I’ve been busy getting ready for the holiday season both at work and at home but I took some time out today to read your post again thoroughly. It’s a comprehensive post that provides so much information and advice that newcomers to stumbleupon need to read. As for me, well, I’m finding trying to keep up with social networking is encroaching on what little free time I have. I’m taking a social networking holiday until January 2nd and at that time I will be taking a very close look at my stumbleupon account and the advice you have shared. Thanks so much for “going deep” on this important subject. I appreciate it.
