Noticed something new?
Blogging With Success blog has just turned one! The first year has been great for us and we have learned a lot from the experience. Heading into second year, we decided to change a bit.
Design
Now that’s hard to miss! The new design is based on the best WordPress theme framework out there. Yes, you guessed it right, this is Thesis.
We have retained only the essential elements and removed everything extra(including banner ads).
Next, we eliminated an “irritating feature”(at least for me!). When someone replied to comments, page had to be reloaded and this was an unnecessary step even if it took only a few second. Now, when you press reply button, the comment form comes to the position you are at!
Content
We have already given the content top priority. With this update, we are just changing our publishing strategy a bit. We will not publish as frequently as before. Instead you’ll get in-depth coverage of topics that make your blog even more successful.
Speed
Thesis + Doreo = Speed! We are already on Doreo’s litespeed server. Add the Thesis framework to equation and you get a fast blog. We have made every effort to keep layout light and code clean. This has resulted in about 30% speed increase(Just surf around and you will notice it). And finally, Thanks to you, all the readers. Without your support, we would never have been able to reach where we are. Have any suggestions? Do let us know through comments.

Hey, nice job! Very fresh look.
I was looking for a CMF Ads widget as I was sure you were a member, but I guess not.
Well, we removed all ads with this redesign.
In future, when we add ads, I will surely consider CMF ads. The network is very innovative.
I really like it! it is fresh and you cannot tell it is based off of thesis! the only things that I think could use some improvement is the email section up the top, it doesn’t really compel people to subscribe.
The comment section that you enter your comments seems a little bulky with the thicker stroke, and I would ‘unbold’ and make the font smaller in the footer.
Other than that I love it! Makes me want to get thesis and start working on some themes!

Thesis is a great theme and you will love it. But it needs either a good designer or a child theme(we are using a child theme from thesisthemes.com ) to look different!

Thesis costs $87 for 2 site license. However, if you want to look different, keep another $30-90 ready to buy a good child theme for Thesis.

I love the new design – fresh and clean and if you hadn’t told me, I never would have guessed it was Thesis! It looks nothing like the default.

Yes, we can help you with Thesis now. Now I understand why you never used the Bookmarks tutorials. I was also confused to see just a single line in single.php(normal themes have lot of lines of code!) and can imagine how you would have felt.

The new theme is very attractive and simple ,it loads very fast. Thesis is awsome , i will buy it when i have enough money.

The new look of the website is really great! I must admit that I\’ve been looking into switching to Thesis myself, as the layout is much cleaner. I was in doubt, but I must say you made me rethink about it

I agree with you. Thesis has lot of options and it is very easy to customize.
Its been a little while, I was off for a bit had a really bad flu. The site looks fantastic though! Really good job, I have to catch back up now.

Nothing fishy — We’ve always had multiple authors and several wonderful guest authors. Fransiska, our other co-founder has been away for quite some time now. And, since some folks are afraid of spiders, we elected Mr. I to be our public social media face on Twitter and forums — people just love his personality and cool glasses.
