Well, rankings improve when you link to older posts, it is easy for Spiders to find it and also, since the anchor text is optimized, you can score better for that term. The difference is not huge but noticeable.

Bounce: a bounce is term used to describe a visit that lasted for less than fixed point. That is, if you consider 30 sec. as threshold, every visit that lasts for less than 30 sec will be counted as a bounce. It is nly counted if visitors navigates away from your site, not to an internal page!

I do'nt fully understand much of what you're writing. I think that if people already know what you're talking about, they'll understand you. But you're writing to those who do not, right? Or to those who are learning about posts, blogs etc., right? Like me. So if you write about "bounce back", what is that? Also, it's my understanding that linking within your own blog doesn't increase traffic. Even linking from one blog to another on the same server doesn't make a significant difference in rankings. So please explain why linking back to earlier (or later) posts would do anything in rankings. Thanks.

Linking back to earlier post is a great method to not only get your visitors to visit them as well, but also to share some link love to your old posts. I recommend everyone to do this since you'll see a tremendous change.

High value keywords and back-linking are the essential aspects of any SEO. Your post has highlighted both. I’d also recommend commenting on other successful blogs.
