Thanks. I actually went away from that comment and decided to give it a try, and you will notice that I now have a a favicon which is my logo on a white background. I think it makes it a lot cleaner.

Great tutorial on Gravatars. In my opinion, as you mention, not having a gravatar can be a huge mistake. Almost every blog now uses this simple feature – and it allows for easier brandability across the internet.

A new subscriber — Welcome. Now I like that kind of commitment! So, I’ve used your avatar and created a quick n’ dirty favicon which you are free to download and put on your site until you get a better one. Here’s the browser shot as it would appear once you add you your blog — taken in my test blog .

The actual jpg is at

just right click and copy. I used the IrFanView software Mr. I talked about in comments section of my Favicon post. I just did a copy, paste, cut out then resized to 32 x 32 png. Uploaded to Flickr which made it a jpg. The Browser resized it to the tiny 16 x 16 favicon. Took about 5 minutes — hardest part is finding the urls for image links!
