Ugh! I've been trying to get this done for hours! The free WP version just wont let me have the scrolling textbox for users to grab the button code. Not even a fake one. Any other way around it? Thanks so much for sharing. I’ve been trying this for days, only when I read your statement “Remember the button image must be accessible to everyone” did it hit me that I had saved my button under ‘private’ in photobucket. You eliminated my headache!

Hello Ellyn!
You seem to have the ‘curly quotes’ problem. Look closely at the quotes ( ” versus “). The html must have the straight quotes. If you’re publishing in a WP page instead of a sidebar widget then install the plugin to override WP’s curly quotes — ‘no curly quotes’ or put the html in a sidebar widget where WP does not try to pretty up the quotes…

I’m trying to add this to a page on the Nature Trail instead of a widget. But when I put this in the HTML editor:

It turns it into this when I click publish:

Any ideas on how to make that quit adding the _mce_src stuff in there?
