I also use Platinum SEO as well as Simple Tags and have had good results so far (though my site's still young).

I also like those tools because they're very easy to use and don' t seem to take up too much of my time so I can keep my focus on the content.

Good basic information. I personally stopped using Headspace because it was buggy or was conflicting with some of my other plugins. I use Platinum SEO as well as Simple Tags – the combination works great. Simple tags lets you put your main keywords in and then automatically tag every post which contains one of those keywords. And the tags because meta-keywords as well.
