As Mr. I suggested, just jump back in (no one knows you're back yet, so define the contest now, make it simple and go for it as your first post!) Why not something focused on your prior post which listed your top post for 2008. Something like voting for the best or the best or having readers comment on how they actually used a tutorial or how they improved upon it (if possible!). Winner could be selected based on content or just randomly.
