I have been using Chitika for about a month now on some sites and I like it.
The earnings for me are comparable to Google if the ads are properly placed (that is, directly under the title).
The idea that the ad is based on the exact term that was searched for leads to highly relevant ads which allow images (Google doesn't permit that).

Is Chitika performing better than AdSense? I don't think so!

We can compare the performance in two ways.
First earnings. Chitika does not earn as much as AdSense as it is displayed only to search visitors.
But when we look at Click Through Rate, Chitika performs as much as thrice than AdSense. CTR is awesome and this brings lot of revenue.
You can try Chitika on your own blog and I am sure you will be impressed.

Yes, it is great. I love the fact that it not show to regular visitors. They get great experience while search engine visitors get information about products they may like!
I just recently signed up and started using Chitika after over two and a half years of running my blog. I only wish I'd signed up sooner! I've got pretty good search engine traffic too, and while money isn't exactly rolling in yet, I know based on my earnings so far that I'll have at least some sort of payment each month (ie I'll be making at least the $10 minimum monthly).
How come I did not come accross this before. Hmm… every other ad site I visited I had a problem with the payment option. Since Chitika is offering payment via paypal, this is something that I can certainly register for. Thank you for this valuable information.
