Commenting Policy for Blogging With Success

We understand the value of your opinions and encourage you to share your views in post comments.

In case you wondered, this is the Blogging With Success commenting policy:

  1. Names: Any comments containing only keywords will be unlinked/deleted. You can use "Name | My Keywords" or "Name @ My Blog" but not only "My Keywords."
  2. Linking: You may link your name to your blog or profile. Do not link to any ad-page, porn, affiliates or commercial site. Such comments will be unlinked and may be deleted. Only leave link to your blog/profile, using the field provided in the form.
  3. Content: Please stay on topic – only comments related to post content are published. This is not an opportunity for you to promote yourself in the comment text. Do not leave any links in comment body unless asked or necessary. Links must add value to the conversation. Unnecessary links will be deleted. Do not leave one-liner messages  like  "Thanks for this post"/"Great Post."  Anyone leaving spammy comments may be banned from commenting.
  4. Privacy: If you want to hide your real name, you can use an alias or nickname. A valid E-Mail address is required to leave a comment. We will not publish your email  or share it with anyone.
  5. Top Commentators: Do not try to game the system and steal anyone else's identity. (We are prone to that, read this.) Anyone caught attempting this will be banned.
  6. Respect: The bottom line is respect for the author, other visitors and yourself.  Disagreement and constructive criticism is great. However, we will delete offensive language or personal attacks.

Now that you know the policy, there should be no confusion. We don't want the spam filters to delete an innocent comment. On the other hand, if you can't follow these guidelines, please move on. For any questions, feel free to Contact Us.

Happy Commenting!  :-)
