All is true, most of the people who do not have the above; most of the times end up not getting on well with the people they are staying with. the most important ones here according to me are: good posture, use of persons' right names when addressing them, humor and forgiveness.

@Rendell – Yes, some may not be able to follow them because their habits force them to do other things. Some say that 90% of the things you do are dictated by the unconscious mind. It will take others quite some effort before they can shove these tips into their psyche, but it's well worth the effort.

@Brian Elliott – you can also do well by just having a website instead of a blog. both have their own advantages and disadvantages. with blogs, however, you are right to say that it requires a lot of interpersonal skills.

For your blog to do well on the internet requires a lot of inter-personal skills. You can't just write a blog and expect it will be properly promoted by the search engines alone. You will need to build relationships in blog communities like blog catalog or mybloglog in order to build links and promote your blog successfully.
